Our Step-By-Step Approach To Invisalign Braces
Step 1 – Initial Consultation
We start with your initial consultation with an assessment of your teeth, gums, occlusion and decide if any restorative work is needed as part of the treatment plan.
We will take a digital scan of your teeth and offer an illustration to show how brilliant your teeth will look upon completion.
We answer any important questions that you may have and outline the commitment involved to wearing your Invisalign braces every day and go over the price points.
Step 2 – Scan and Photos
Once you have proceeded, we carry out a formal scan and show you the clincheck which is a computerised version of how your teeth are going to end up, including where the attachments are going to go, the filing that needs to be done and how many aligners you will have.
Once the dentist has shown you the clincheck and you have approved it, they will be sent for manufacturing.
Step 3 – Fitting The Attachments
Once your aligners arrive a few weeks later, we will fit the attachments, do some filing and fit the first aligner. We make sure that you can get the Invisalign trays in and out and go through how to care for them.
We often give a second aligner for you to change at home after 1 week.
Step 4 – Wearing Your Invisalign Braces
You can finally start wearing your Invisalign/ Aligners and you will be wearing them all day and night except for eating and brushing your teeth.
You will need to attend appointments every 4-6 weeks for minor and adjustments to help with the movement. A new batch of aligners will also be provided during these appointments to continue your course of treatment.
Step 5 – Treatment Complete!
In 6 to 24 months of wearing your Invisalign/aligners trays, you will have beautiful straight teeth!
You will be given a fixed and/or removable retainer to maintain results and ensure that the teeth do not shift back or relapse. If retainers are not worn, the teeth will move. – You will need to continue visiting your general dentist to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

No, Invisalign is considered to be cosmetic treatment and is only available privately. It is possible to get general orthodontic treatment on the NHS if you meet a certain criteria due your teeth and bite structure and they are considered essential for you. Following an assessment, you will need to be eligible on the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN) scale.
Do You Offer Invisalign Braces For Children, Teenagers and Adults?
We do not offer Invisalign for children and only offer it for teenagers in certain circumstances (assessment required). Our invisalign treatment is most common for adults using orthodontics for the first, second or third time.

Yes, your payments for Invisalign can be made upfront and paid in full or paid monthly.
How Long Does Invisalign Take?
